A man from Fort Walton Beach, Florida, was arrested this week after allegedly shooting a cyclist in the head with a crossbow.
The man, Mathew Ross Peters, 42, was charged by police with aggravated battery with a deadly weapon and firing a deadly weapon into a moving vehicle.
The victim, Benny Davis was taken to hospital with serious head injuries after the shooting.
Peters was arrested leaving the Sea Breeze Inn hotel while still holding the crossbow.
Peters is awaiting trial.
