On the 23May, Tyler Worden, 41, was arrested by the Vero Beach police in Florida after allegedly throwing pizza slices at his daughter, who is 20.

According to the police, Worden arrived at his daughter’s house, with a pizza and knocked on the door asking if his daughter wanted to share the pizza with him. His daughter claimed that he smelled of alcohol and said that she wasn’t feeling well and asked him to leave.

According to police Worden became angry and began to shout at her in the doorway of her home and allegedly began to throw pieces of the pizza at her hitting her in the face. The daughter shouted at him and then called 911.

An officer arrived and reported finding tomato sauce on the daughter’s face, but Worden claimed he didn’t throw pizza at her.

Worden was arrested on a misdemeanor charge and he was booked into the Indian River county Jail.

The American constitution does not guarantee the right to bear pizza and it remains an open question as to whether activists will call for pizza control.
