In the run-up to North Korea’s annual military holiday – the 25 April commemoration of the formation of the armed forces – the country’s state media says North Korea has ‘invincible power that the world cannot ignore and no one can touch’.

North Korea has embarked on ballistic missile testing recently. Concerns have been expressed that North Korea may be resuming nuclear tests. The use of the phrase ‘invincible power’ may be intended to allude to nuclear weapons, according to a Reuters report.

The report also referred to the state media’s description of Kim Jong-Un’s ‘genius military ideology and outstanding military command and unparalleled courage and guts’.
