A Kenyan court has allowed prosecutors to withdraw a $60 million corruption case against the country’s Deputy President, Rigathi Gachagua.

This came after prosecutors claimed they did not have sufficient evidence to continue the case.

Gachagua, along with others, was charged with corruption last July, in the run up to a hotly contested presidential election. The vote was won by William Ruto. Gachagua was his running mate.
