Nearly 30 bodies were dumped next to a road in Zambia. Police reported that the bodies of 27 people had been found north of Lusaka, the country’s capital.

It is believed that they are likely migrants from Ethiopia where were probably en route to South Africa. The people most likely suffocated to death in the back of a truck.

In a statement the Zambian police said: ‘Our preliminary investigations indicate that a total number of 28 persons, all males aged between 20 and 38, were dumped in Meanwood Nkhosi along Chiminuka road in Ngwerere area by unknown people.’
