The Free Speech Union of South Africa (FSU SA) will be hosting a webinar tomorrow morning on the constitutional and legal implications of criminalising hate speech.

In particular, the webinar will look at the consequences of criminalising hate speech for the media, and for whistleblowers.

Host and moderator Sara Gon, the director of the FSU SA, will be joined in the discussion by three guest speakers, Advocate Mark Oppenheimer of the Johannesburg Bar, Professor Anton Harber, Executive Director of the Campaign for Free Expression, and Cynthia Stimpel of Whistleblower House.

The webinar will take place at 11am tomorrow.
