Zimbabwe’s main opposition party, the Citizens’ Coalition for Change (CCC) claims that one of its supporters was stoned to death on the way to a political rally last week.

Zimbabwe is set to hold elections in three weeks’ time. Observers believe it is unlikely that it will be free and fair, with a series of unfair elections having seen the ruling ZANU-PF maintain control of the country, despite complete economic collapse.

Last, a report by Human Rights Watch was released, titled Crush Them Like Lice, which alleges that there has been “violence, intimidation, harassment, and repression” linked to ZANU-PF aimed at the CCC.
