Rwanda announced this week that it plans to allow Africans to travel visa-free to the country in an effort to establish a zone of free movement across the continent.

“Any African, can get on a plane to Rwanda whenever they wish and they will not pay a thing to enter our country” said President Paul Kagame

Kagame went on to say that it was important to develop Africa’s internal tourism market.

Kenya announced earlier in the week that it planned to implement a similar visa-free regime for African travelers by the end of the year.
