A new poll shows that a large proportion of Americans are concerned about the age of President Joe Biden.
A CBS/YouGov poll released over the weekend showed that 72% of respondents said that Biden did not have the mental or cognitive capacity to serve as President. The poll comes after the first US Presidential debate last week, which showed Biden to be confused and unsure of his arguments.
Reports indicate that a number of senior people in the Democratic Party, of which Biden is a member, believe that Biden should step down before the November Presidential election, where he is facing Donald Trump.
Concerning for the Democrats is that the poll also found that 45% of registered members of the party believed that Biden should step down.
