Only a few days before the inauguration of President-elect Joe Biden, the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea, more commonly known as North Korea, has unveiled its new missile system to the world.

In a massive military parade presided over by North Korean leader, Kim Jong-un, the North Korean armed forces displayed 4 submarine launched missiles, which state media called “the World’s most powerful weapon.”

In a speech Kim called the United States North Korea’s ‘principle enemy’ and said the fate of their relations depended on the United States ending its ‘aggressive’ policies.

North Korea analysts do not believe that the country has submarines capable of launching the missiles yet, but believes that they are in the process of developing them.

These would in theory allow North Korea to carry out a submarine-based nuclear attack on the west coast of the United States, if the U.S. navy was unable to intercept the submarine.

North Korea will likely be a key challenge for Biden as it has been for U.S. presidents for the last 20 years.
