“White Lives Don’t Matter!” The eNCA television station made this clear in a disgraceful racist incident broadcast live to the nation last month.

An eNCA journalist, Lindsay Dentlinger, was interviewing party spokesmen after the 2021 Budget address. She asked the black spokesman of the UDM to wear a mask but not the white spokesman of the FF Plus. These masks are mandatory to protect people against the deadly, air-borne disease, Covid-19, which has killed over fifty thousand South Africans. The interviewer was obviously very concerned about protecting the life of the black man, and so asked him to wear his mask. She obviously cared nothing about the life of the white man. She didn’t care if he caught Covid-19 and died in agony. A deep unconscious racism, profound and subliminal, led her to believe that white lives didn’t matter.

The media, politicians and human rights activists were in uproar. A spokesman for WLM (White Lives Matter) said this showed once again how little the mainstream media cared about the suffering of white people. The South African Human Rights Commission (SAHRC) launched an investigation into the behaviour of Lindsay Dentlinger. A SAHRC spokesperson said, “If this racist had seen little black children playing at the edge of a cliff, she would have shouted at them to come away from it. But if she had seen little white children playing at the edge of a cliff, she would have done nothing, and would have been quite happy to see them falling to their deaths.”

Ms Sancti Monious, Director of the Woke Diversity Company, which teaches Critical Race Theory, said “All TV interviewers should attend my diversity courses, where I explain how they should sensitise themselves to the delicate feelings of white people, who feel themselves threatened and under attack. This obscene episode shows that white people in South Africa are not regarded as full human beings”.

This is a pack of lies. Nothing of the sort happened.

Actually, the uproar was all the other way. It never occurred to anybody that Lindsay Dentlinger was being racist against the white man, not the black man, although to any objective outside observer this must have been the obvious inference – if, that is, there was any racism at all, which I don’t think there was.

Dentlinger’s explanation of what happened seems perfectly reasonable. Her first interview was with the white man, Pieter Groenewald, and she simply forgot that interviewees were meant to wear masks. I forget all the time. Then either she remembered, or somebody reminded her, and from then on she asked the rest to wear masks. I see no reason to disbelieve her.

But there is a howling mob who want to disbelieve her. They want her to be a vicious white racist. There is a vast special interest, sometimes even a paid industry, which is desperate to find examples of white racism. There are privileged black people whose main aim is victimhood, and who long to feel “hurt” and “pain”. These elitist blacks, in their BMWs, drive their children to posh schools they have chosen because most of the teachers are white, and then feel mighty resentful of whites. There are columnists in our newspapers whose only topic is white racism against blacks. They don’t care about poor black people being murdered in huge numbers in the townships by other blacks, they don’t care about poor black women being raped in the squatter camps, they don’t care about our 43% unemployment, mainly among blacks, they don’t care about our failing economy or the wretched failure of black education or the crumbling infrastructure in which most black people live. All they care about is when a white person makes a racist remark against a black person.

In February 2016, a white estate agent, Vicki Momberg, shouted the word “kaffir” repeatedly at black policemen who tried to help her after she had been robbed. The politicians and the media shrieked and howled (not at her being robbed but at her using racist insults). There was editorial after editorial denouncing her, and showing how she had revealed great evil in South Africa. In May 2016 (two months later), a 23-year-old black man had both eyes and both testicles gouged out by three other black men. The case was investigated, and a guilty man convicted and imprisoned. The relevant facts were known and recorded. The politicians and the media were silent except for a brief report on SAFM radio and an article in The Daily Sun. There was not once single editorial about this ghastly crime. The suffering of the black man meant nothing. The racism of the white woman meant everything.

This is the worst racism in South Africa – and the USA. Black Lives Don’t matter. Only white sin does.

(By the way, I have seen not one scientific study that shows that face masks do actually protect the wearer and the people near her or him. But that is a different topic.)
