A South African National Defence Force (SANDF) Driver appeared before a military court on Friday facing charges of negligent loss of state property.
The driver was charged after the army truck he was driving was stolen whilst he was inside a Centurion shopping centre. According to social media accounts which reported on the incident, the large truck weighing around 5 tons was stolen by a group of men dresses as SANDF soldiers.
The SANDF has asked any members of the public with information to come forward.
