A gold bikini worn by the late Carrie Fisher in Return of the Jedi has been auctioned off for $175 000.
The bikini, worn by Fisher’s character, Princess Leia, has become one of the most iconic costumes in movie history.
Fisher said in interviews later in life that she had thought that George Lucas, who directed Return of the Jedi, and created the franchise, was joking when he told her he wanted her to wear the bikini.
