Elon Musk, the South African-born billionaire who is also the world’s richest man, has reportedly given $75 million to Donald Trump’s presidential campaign.

The Financial Times reports that in this year’s third quarter Musk gave several multi-million-dollar donations to his political action committee, known as America Pac, which was formed to help Donald Trump. America Pac has spent nearly $100 million in boosting Trump.

Musk endorsed Trump in July and appeared with him at a rally in Pennsylvania earlier this month. Pennsylvania is a key swing state ahead of next month’s presidential election.

Most polls have Trump’s rival, Kamala Harris, slightly ahead in national polls, but show a dead heat in most of the swing states, which are key to winning the presidency.

Trump has said that if he wins, he will appoint Musk to head a commission to investigate federal spending and regulations.
