Citrus County Sheriff’s Office in Florida responded to a 911 call last week from a person claiming to have been attacked by a man with a knife.
The suspect was identified as 26-year-old Brett Carver. According to the police, Carver had entered the home he shared with the victim, whom he attacked with a razor knife, inflicting a wound.
After grappling with Carver, the victim grabbed a grill fork and chased Carver into the street. Carver allegedly abandoned the knife – with which he had accidentally wounded himself – and took himself to hospital, where police later arrested him.
He was charged with aggravated domestic battery, and taken to the Citrus County jail.
