Wales has announced that all Covid-related health measures could be scrapped by the end of this month.

The Welsh government said that mandatory masks and self-isolation would no longer be requirements from 28 March. The principality will also be ending the provision of free Covid tests.

The Welsh government also said that it would be moving away from regular mass testing to rather focusing testing on vulnerable people.

It would also be releasing a plan on how Wales could ‘live safely with coronavirus’.

Wales is the last of the United Kingdom’s four constituent countries that is lifting Covid-19 restrictions.
