President Cyril Ramaphosa will be holding talks with United States President Joe Biden at the White House later this month.

The White House said the two leaders would meet on 16 September.

‘The two Presidents will reaffirm the importance of our enduring partnership, and discuss our work together to address regional and global challenges,’ the White House statement said.

It is unclear if the presidents will discuss the African Growth and Opportunity Act (AGOA), which some US politicians have argued South Africa should not be benefiting from.
