Another South African cricketer is set to turn out for the New Zealand national cricket team this weekend.
Chad Bowes, who captained South Africa at the U/19 Cricket World Cup in 2012 and plays as a batter, is set to make his debut for the Black Caps against Sri Lanka today.
Bowes moved to New Zealand in 2015, after having played for KwaZulu-Natal in South African domestic cricket, and qualified to play for his adopted country in 2018.
He follows a number of South Africa-born players who have turned out for the Black Caps in recent years, including Devon Conway, Neil Wagner, Grant Elliot, Kruger van Wyk, and Colin Munro.
