For the 10th time in the history of the famous race, the winner in the 150th Kentucky Derby claimed first place by a nose.
It took several minutes for the stewards to confirm the win by Mystik Dan, declared the winner in a three-horse photo finish. Sierra Leone was placed in second place, followed by Forever Young a nose further back
The race was watched by more than 156 700 fans at the legendary Churchill Downs track in Louisville.
