American President-elect, Donald Trump, has not let up on his desire to secure Greenland and the Panama Canal.
In a press conference this week, Trump was asked whether he would rule out the use of military or economic force to secure the two territories, to which Trump replied: “No, I can’t assure you on either of those two. But I can say this, we need them for economic security.”
In the same press conference, Trump suggested that the Gulf of Mexico should be renamed the “Gulf of America”.
Trump has also previously said he would like to make Canada the USA’s 51st state.
