Food grown in laboratories could be on sale in the UK within two years, according to the BBC.

The Food Standards Agency (FSA) has said that it is looking how it can speed up approval for lab-grown foods.

Dog food produced from lab-grown meat went on sale in the UK last month.

A number of countries around the world have approved the sale of lab-grown meat, including Israel, Singapore, and the US, although a number of individual American states have banned its sale.
