Lesotho has said it will send a delegation to the US to discuss the tariff that was slapped on the Mountain Kingdom.

This comes after a tariff of 50% was put on the country by US President, Donald Trump.

Trade minister, Mokhethi Shelile, was quoted as saying: “We need to urgently travel to the US to engage with its executives and plead our case.”

Shelile said he was concerned about job losses and that Lesotho had to diversify its trade relationships.
