The police believe they have found the remains of a missing journalist, Sibusiso Ndlovu, and his partner, Zodwa Mdhluli, in Limpopo.

The couple were last seen in February in KwaMhlanga in Mpumalanga.  What is believed to be their remains was found about 70km away, in Rust de Winter in Limpopo.

Ndlovu was the founder of a Pretoria-based radio station, Capital Live.

Five suspects were arrested with some of Ndlovu’s and Mdhluli’s goods in their possession. One of the suspects led police to where the bodies were.

DNA tests have still to be conducted to confirm the identities of the bodies, as they were in an advanced state of decomposition.

Ndlovu’s family believes that the motive for the murder was that somebody wanted to use Ndlovu’s car as a taxi.
