The Russian government has said US President Donald Trump is suffering from “emotional overload”.

This came after Trump had said Russian President Vladimir Putin had gone “absolutely crazy” and that he was “needlessly killing a lot of people”. This was in the aftermath of a Russian strike on Ukraine, which killed 13 people, using a combination of drones and missiles.

This was Russia’s largest combined airstrike since the war began in 2022.

Meanwhile Ukraine said that the strike had not had a military purpose but had rather been a political message by Russia indicating their willingness to continue the war.
