Eric Detiege, 47, from Tampa, Florida, was arrested on 14th March for alleged exposure of sexual organs, according to an arrest affidavit.
A member of the public called local police at around four in the afternoon to report a suspicious person, and an officer was dispatched to investigate.
The attending officer claims he saw Detiege lying on his back in front of a townhouse next to the street. Detiege was apparently without any pants or underwear and had one hand on his genitals. The other was holding a “large uneaten pickle”. The police officer claims Detiege was using the pickle as a sex toy.
Detiege was arrested on a misdemeanour charge of exposure of sexual organs. He is currently being held in the Pinellas County jail. Detiege has had prior convictions for theft, resisting arrest and “criminal mischief”. According to his jail records he has the phrase “Only God can judge me” tattooed on his arm.
