The fedora which Harrison Ford wore in the second Indian Jones film – Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom – has been auctioned off for $630 000.

The hat was sold off with other movie memorabilia, including props from the James Bond, Star Wars, and Harry Potter franchises.

Indiana Jones – one of Harrison Ford’s most iconic roles – is an adventuring archaeologist whose outfit of a fedora and leather jacket, as well as his bullwhip, have become some of the most recognised in cinema.

In Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom Jones combats a cult in India which worships the Hindu goddess, Kali.
