The Daily Friend podcast, the Daily Friend Show, has been ranked ninth out of 21 “Best Liberal Podcasts to Follow in 2025” by the United States-based Breaking Battlegrounds political podcast.

Breaking Battlegrounds, hosted by Sam Stone and Chuck Warren, is described as a politics podcast show that interviews opinion leaders from across the world “to discuss politics, culture, and policies that are shaping our day-to-day lives”.

It boasts 430,000 digital podcast downloads, and an average of 24 million monthly social media views.

Breaking Battlegrounds says that the podcasts featured in the “list of 21 liberal podcasts that are worth checking out in 2025 … cover a bunch of different topics, all from a liberal point of view, so you’re sure to find something that fits what you’re looking for”.

Of the Daily Friend Show, it says: “The Daily Friend Show offers a concise, approximately 30-minute look at current events. It provides a liberal perspective on political and social issues. You’ll hear from analysts and writers who share their insights. It’s a good way to stay informed if you’re looking for a liberal perspective on current affairs. It tackles a range of topics, aiming to provide listeners with a clear understanding of the day’s important issues.”
