The Value For Money Bill, the latest in the series of draft laws produced by the Institute of Race Relations (IRR) as a constructive contribution to changing South Africa for the better will be launched with a webinar tomorrow.

Gabriel Crouse, IRR Fellow, and Hermann Pretorius, IRR Head of Strategic Communications, will discuss the content of the bill, focusing on:

  • The demand for maximising value for money in the R1.2 trillion procurement budget;
  • Putting value for money first to improve service delivery, and
  • Making the procurement process transparent.
