Part of the crowd of demonstrators outside the court this morning.

After a protester threw rocks over the barbed-wire cordon at the police and journalists, police fired one round of tear gas and advanced, forming a human blockade. A white police officer was singled out by a demonstrator who shouted: ‘V.k off, jou white racist.’ The police line held as it retreated to the barbed wire surrounding the court.

A stone thrown from the crowd is visible in flight in the top right of the photo.
