Brian Scallan

Brian Scallan lectures in economics and financial services management for the B.Com degree at the Da Vinci Institute. In a broad career spanning 65 years, he has been a researcher at the Council for Scientific and Industrial Research, a management consultant, an investment banker at Standard Bank, and a project finance consultant, and has been involved in mining finance for UK and Canadian companies in the DRC. Scallan has a B.Sc (Eng) degree in chemical engineering from UCT, a B.Com from Unisa and an MBA from UCT.
